Terms & Conditions of Sale & Entry

Laneway Festival

  1. ‘You’ and ‘your’ refers to the customer. ‘We’, ‘us’, ‘our’ and event organiser refers to St Jerome's Laneway Festival promoted by St Jerome's Laneway NZ Ltd, 490 Crown St, Surry Hills 2010 Australia ('Promoter'). This ‘agreement’ means these terms and conditions and any other conditions specified by us on our booking form.
  2. Tickets are sold on the express condition that the holder is bound by the rules & regulations issued by the Promoter - you will follow the reasonable directions of Festival staff as required.
  3. All tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except in accordance with the applicable laws in the region of purchase.
  4. Festival organisers reserve the right to withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and may vary advertised programs, prices and venues.
  5. Ticketholders acknowledge that there may be restricted capacities at some of the Festival's stages/venues. Once the maximum capacity is reached in these areas there will be no further admissions. Your purchase of a ticket to the Festival does not guarantee admission to these areas in such cases.
  6. This is an All Ages event, however, patrons under 15 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.  All patrons must provide photo identification at the entry gate.  Any person under the age of 15, not accompanied by a responsible adult, will be refused entry to the event.
  7. No refunds will be processed for patrons who are denied entry due to not having valid identification for admittance or because they are under 15, and not accompanied by a responsible adult.
  8. Anyone found supplying or buying alcohol for a minor will be evicted from the event and may face criminal charges. 
  9. No alcohol or illicit drugs are to be brought into the festival site.
  10. No glass, eskys, umbrellas, video cameras or professional cameras are permitted on the festival site.  Audio or visual recordings of the event are prohibited. Still cameras (not professional) are permitted but images may only be used for private purposes and not public display. Patrons offer consent to be included in film and sound recordings of the event and for these recordings to be used by the event organiser.
  11. No animals will be admitted.
  12. Footwear must be worn at all times.

  14. Ticket to be redeemed at event for wrist band in order to gain entry and re-entry. Wrist band must be worn for the entire event, failure to do so may result in your eviction from the festival site.
  15. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased through an authorised point of sale.
  16. All bookings and ticket purchases are non-transferable and may not be sold or transferred by you.
  17. The right is reserved to charge a fee for the replacement of tickets.
  18. The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the event organiser and the venues terms of admission.
  19. It is a condition of entry that you submit to a search of person or possessions on entry to the venue if we decide to take such action.
  20. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability of any nature for the acts, omissions or default of those providing services in connection with ‘St Jerome's Laneway Festival’ or any liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay or additional expenses which are incurred at or in association with this event. Where legislation implies any condition or warranty which cannot be excluded or modified, that condition or warranty will be deemed to be included in this agreement. However, our liability for any breach of such condition or warranty will be limited, at our option, to the resupply of the services or the cost of having the services supplied again. In no event will we be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary or special damages.
  21. You acknowledge that neither we nor the venue will be responsible for any loss or damage to the property (including personal property such as bags, money or other personal items) brought to or purchased at the event by you or your invitees.
  22. You will be liable for any loss or damage caused at the event by you or your invitees.
  23. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event for any reason.
  24. You must ensure that you and your invitees act in an orderly manner when attending the event. We may refuse entry or evict you or any of your invitees if they are behaving in a disorderly, offensive or inappropriate manner.
  25. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued except in the case of a complete event cancellation. If the event is cancelled prior to its start, Emedia Campaigns will provide refunds to patrons who have purchased tickets for the cancelled event within 5 business days. Requests for refunds can only be made up to 4 weeks after notification of event cancellation. Booking Fees and transaction fees are non-refundable. The Promoter is not liable for any damage, compensation, loss or expenses as a result of the event being cancelled, postponed, relocated or changed for whatever reason.
  26. There will be no refund on any unused portion of tickets if you or your invitees are asked or forced to leave or if you decide not to attend any part of the Festival.
  27. Pursuant to your booking, we may need to collect and keep personal information about you including your name, address and telephone number and the names of all ticket allocations. You will, also,be required to enter your credit card details to purchase your ticket.  We may need to disclose your personal information as required by law or as permitted under the Privacy Act. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we will handle your personal information.
  28. ‘Laneway Festival’ cares for the environment and community. Please be respectful and place any litter in the bins provided around the venue.
